Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills

This level builds water confidence and introduces foundational swim skills. Swimmers practice putting their face in the water, controlled breathing, floating with support, and basic movement through the water.

Participants should be comfortable separating from caregivers and willing to put their face in the water.

Ages: 5-7 years

Cost: $60 per session

Location: Nelson Pool and Palermo Pool.

Placement Policy
To ensure safety and success, FRRPD staff may move swimmers to a different level if they do not meet the listed prerequisites.
