In April 2018, we officially broke ground to begin the Riverbend Park Restoration Project.
Due to the February 2017 Spillway Incident and the vandalism that followed, our beloved Riverbend Park was left in shambles. With the help of Melton Design Group, Franklin Construction, Living X Elements, River Partners, staff, and volunteers, FRRPD is working hard to restore the park and then some. Although the park is currently closed to the public, our goal is to have the area North of the roundabout, including the soccer fields and eagle pavilion, open by mid-November. The rest of the park will be completed in phases, however the entire project is expected to be completed by Spring 2019.
We will update this page as progress is made. Some links for additional information have been included below. If you have any other questions, please call the Activity Center at (530) 533-2011.
