RECREATION COORDINATOR - AQUATICS

FRRPD is now recruiting for the position of Recreation Coordinator - Aquatics. The Recreation Coordinator - Aquatics will assist in hiring, training, scheduling, appraising lifeguards, instructors, and facility attendants and will ensure that lifesaving certification is current and that all lifeguards are fully competent in performing water rescue procedures. The Recreation Coordinator will address and evaluate performance of aquatic staff, explain and enforce policies, explain and enforce rules and regulations of the pools; ensure safety of all patrons and have the ability to perform all duties required of aquatic staff. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

YOUTH SPORTS OFFICIALS

Officials will work to maintain discipline and encourage fair play while demonstrating courtesy, self-control, and integrity with coaches, players, and spectators during sporting events. 

Job Description - Youth Sports Official 

For Spring 2026, we are looking for officials for the following leagues: 

  • Youth Flag Football (March 30 - May 13)
    • Games are Mondays & Wednesdays between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:30pm (no weekends or holiday breaks).
  • Youth Soccer (March 23 - May 14) 
    • Games are Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:30pm (no weekends or holiday breaks).

Prior experience as an official is not required; however, experience as a player or coach and a strong understanding of the game is desired. Applicants must be at least 16 years and pass a Live Scan background check prior to employment.
