COMMUNICATIONS & OUTREACH SPECIALIST

The Communications & Outreach Specialist supports the organization’s public communication, marketing, and outreach efforts. This position is responsible for maintaining consistent branding and messaging across digital and print platforms, ensuring timely and accurate information is shared with the community, and promoting district programs, parks, facilities, and special events.

This role requires creativity, organization, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with staff across departments.

POOL MANAGERS

FRRPD is recruiting two (2) Pool Managers for the 2026 aquatics season.  Pool Manager will oversee aquatic facility operations and staffing at FRRPD pools.

LIFEGUARDS

Looking for a summer job that will make waves? FRRPD is now accepting applications for the position of Lifeguard. Lifeguards are responsible for the safety and well-being of all patrons participating in aquatics-related programs and activities. Lifeguards maintain constant surveillance of assigned aquatic areas, proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all users.

Current Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are required for employment. Not certified yet? Check out our Lifeguard Certification Course if you do not have certification.

FACILITY ATTENDANT (Adult Volleyball)

FRRPD is looking for a Facility Attendant to oversee adult rec league volleyball games on Wednesdays. Duties include scorekeeping, setting up and taking down volleyball standards and net, and facility oversight. Applicants must be available after 5:30pm on Wednesdays, starting April 1 and ending in mid-May. Preference will go to applicants with previous volleyball experience/knowledge.
