Board Election Procedures and Filing Deadlines

General District Election

Two (2) Board Member positions are up for election in the November General Election.

The Board of Directors is responsible for establishing the policies and structure of the District. Additionally, they provide for the faithful implementation of those policies, which is the responsibility of the General Manager.

Serving as a member of the Board provides an opportunity to represent and advocate not only for the recreational needs of the greater Oroville community.   FRRPD’s Governing Board is comprised of 5 members.  

Required Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older
  • Must be a registered voter of the District
  • Must live in District
  • Not convicted of a felony and no misdemeanor convictions for at least four years.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

FRRPD encourages District residents to learn about the candidates and participate in the election. Your vote helps shape the future leadership of the District and the parks, recreation programs, facilities, and services provided to our community.
