FRRPD operates seasonal aquatics facilities serving the Oroville community.

 

Thermalito Family Center – Nelson Pool (2290 6th Street, Oroville)

Nelson Pool is FRRPD’s primary aquatics facility and hosts the majority of aquatics programming, including:

• Lap Swim
• Aqua Fitness
• Recreational Swim
• Swim Lessons
• Family Swim
• Oroville Orcas Swim Team Practices
• OHS/LPHS Swim Team Practices

 

Palermo Pool (2350 Ludlum Avenue, Palermo)

Palermo Pool is a seasonal neighborhood pool that will reopen for the 2026 aquatics season.

Programming, hours, and offerings will be posted prior to the start of the season.
