SAVE THE DATE!

Come out and make a difference at FRRPD's Annual Feather River Cleanup!

Join park volunteers and FRRPD staff in making a positive impact by restoring the health of the Feather River and surrounding trails. Goals include removing  trash and invasive plant species, reducing wildfire fuels,  discouraging illegal encampments and restoring native habitat.  This initiative enhances community access, safety and environmental health along a key recreation and ecological corridor.

FRRPD Aquatics Programs

DIVE INTO SUMMER

FRRPD’s Aquatics Program offers something for every age and ability at both Nelson Pool and the newly reopened Palermo Pool. From swim lessons and public swim to lap swimming, aqua fitness, and family swim opportunities, our programs promote water safety, healthy lifestyles, and summer fun for the entire community.

Youth swim lessons are available for beginners through advanced swimmers, including Pre-K, Levels 1–3, and private lessons. Classes focus on building confidence, developing swim skills, and improving water safety.

Adults can stay active with lap swim, Aqua Fit, and aquatic movement programs, while families can cool off during recreational and family swim sessions throughout the summer season. Nelson Pool also hosts lifeguard training, swim team practices, and private pool rentals.

Whether you're learning to swim, training for fitness, or simply looking for a fun way to beat the heat, FRRPD Aquatics has a place for you this summer.

Summer Sports Spotlight

We are proud to say that our Jr. Giants Baseball Program, Adult Softball - Summer League and Adult Volleyball - Summer League are doing amazing! With games every week, our teams are working and playing hard!
