18th Annual Wildflower & Nature Festival

The Wildflower & Nature Festival shines a spotlight on natural resources and handmade products in Butte County. The event is free admission, offering activities and entertainment for all ages such as children’s crafts, river kayak tours, live music, food trucks, and a beer garden.

Always the first Saturday of April!

Fun For the Whole Family

Bring the whole family for a day of fun at our event! Enjoy face painting, a bounce house, and visit the Lapidary and Mineral Society and Kirshner Wildlife exhibits. And don't forget, our playgrounds are always available for the kids to play on. With something for everyone to enjoy, it's the perfect way to spend quality time together as a family. Come join us for a day of laughter and memories!

Kayak Down the Feather River

Experience the beauty of the Feather River on this 2-hour guided tour from the Feather River Fish Hatchery to Riverbend Park. Meet at the Riverbend Park boat ramp to catch their shuttle to the launch point at the Fish Hatchery. Guided by the Feather River Center, Oroville’s nonprofit organization dedicated to providing aquatic and environmental education to the youth of Butte County, don’t miss this opportunity to explore the wonders of the Feather River with their knowledgeable guides.
