Martin Luther King Jr. Park Parking Lot Closure — Dusk to Dawn

The Feather River Recreation and Park District (FRRPD) is notifying the public of the upcoming installation of vehicle access gates at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

Vehicle gates will be installed at both the north and south ends of the park's parking lot to regulate vehicle access during overnight hours.

Parking Lot Closure — Dusk to Dawn

Following installation, the parking lot will be closed to vehicle access daily from dusk until dawn.

Park visitors are asked to plan accordingly and ensure that all vehicles are removed from the parking lot prior to dusk.

The purpose of the gates is to limit unauthorized after-hours vehicle activity and address ongoing concerns related to public safety, vandalism, and inappropriate use of park facilities.

The District appreciates the public's cooperation and understanding regarding these changes to parking lot access.
