Chair Yoga

A group of elderly women participating in a seated exercise class, stretching and promoting physical wellness.

Chair Yoga is a gentle, accessible practice designed to support flexibility, strength, balance, and relaxation—using a chair for seated and standing support. This class is ideal for beginners, seniors, people with limited mobility, or anyone seeking a mindful, low-impact approach to movement.

Participants are guided through simple stretches, exercises, and modified yoga poses that can be done seated or with the chair for stability. Breath awareness, gentle strengthening, and relaxation techniques are woven throughout the class to help reduce tension, improve circulation, and enhance overall well-being.

No prior yoga experience is required. Chair Yoga offers a welcoming, supportive environment where students can move at their own pace and honor their individual needs, leaving the class feeling more comfortable, centered, and refreshed.
