FRRPD Aquatics offers swim classes for all ages and abilities.
Classes are designed to allow swimmers to develop good habits in, on, and around the water, to become comfortable in the water, to learn and refine new strokes, and to become stronger, safer swimmers.

Step 2: Select desired session and times.
Step 3: Pre-register and pay for classes at the FRRPD Activity Center.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Basic Beginner/Parent Tot: Recommended ages: 6 months to 36 months
Class provides opportunity to familiarize children with the water and teach swimming readiness skills and techniques that parents can use to safely introduce children to the water.
Level 1: Sea Turtles
Recommended ages: 3 to 5 years
Class designed for children with little or no water experience. Instructors teach introductory breath control, floating and movement skills through active play. Emphasis on water enjoyment and safe practices around the water.
Level 2: Dolphins
Recommended ages: 5 to 8 years
Class will build on the basic aquatic skills and water safety concepts learned in Level 1. Participants will develop controlled breathing skills and locomotion skills used in front crawl and backstroke.
Level 3: Sharks
Recommended ages: 8 to 10 years
Individuals will continue to develop and refine front crawl and backstroke skills learned in Levels 1 & 2. Instructors will introduce skills used in elementary backstroke and breaststroke
