City of Gold Triathlon (2nd Saturday in May)
The City of Gold Triathlon features a half-mile swim, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run. (For more information, see the Chamber of Commerce web site).

Farmers' Market in Downtown Oroville
Enjoy downtown's Farmer's Market every Saturday at the corner of Montgomery and Myers Street.

Feather Fiesta Days (2nd Saturday in May)
Feather Fiesta Days is a nine-day celebration that ends on the 2nd Saturday of May with a parade, chili cook-off, craft fair, activity center, and car show.

Fishing Tournaments (Year-round)
California's best bass fishing can be found at Lake Oroville. Tournaments are held almost every week throughout the year, and there is a new judging and spectator area at the Spillway Launch Area. (For more information, see the Chamber of Commerce web site).

Food/Commodities Distribution (3rd Thursday of every month)
The Community Action Agency of Butte County has partnered with the Palermo Bible Family Church to provide a commodities (food) distribution location for Palermo. (For more information, contact the church at 530-533-2975).

Old-Time Fiddlers (March 19th and 20th, 2010)
The Old-Time Fiddlers will be entertaining the community with music and singing on Friday, March 19th and Saturday, March 20th at the Oroville Municipal Auditorium located at 1200 Myers Street. Please contact Ben Clark at (530) 534-0775 for more information.

Oroville Chamber Celebrity Pro-Am Bass Tournament (dates to be announced)
The Chamber's Celebrity Pro-Am Bass Tournament gives folks the chance to pair up with a professional bass angler for a one-day tournament. The pro provides the boat, rods, tackle and the experience. You just show up and learn.

Oroville Salmon Festival (4th Saturday in September)
For thousands of years, salmon born in the Feather River have made the exhausting trek from the Pacific Ocean back to their spawning grounds in Oroville. The Oroville Salmon Festival community honors that journey with the annual Oroville Salmon festival, an education fair with food, music, crafts, and a farmer's market. Wildflower Festival (April 3, 2010)
Feather River Recreation and Park District is proud to announce its second annual Wildflower Festival to be held at Riverbend Park on Saturday, April 3rd. Please join us for a fun-filled day of native plant sales and information, pony rides, face painting, crafts, food sales, and much more.
